Change of timeslot for next weeks show…

posted in From the boys |

Hello fisher fans,
We are getting some fantastic entries in our Classic Catch competition! The quality of fish is just amazing, you spend heaps of time going through all the entries drooling! But we’ve caught a couple of good fish of our own over the past few weeks which will be on upcoming episodes of Hook, Line and Sinker.
We just returned from a trip to South Australia were we fished with a fellow by the name of the FUZZ! A great bloke and a very good snapper fisherman as you’ll see in a few weeks time.
The Beast is currently at the Fibreglasses getting a pod on the back of it so as we can get onto putting the 350hp Yamaha on the back of it, should get it back in a couple of weeks so as we can do our next segment on it.
Now please note, that next Saturday’s show (April 25) won’t be in the TEN markets (which is VIC, NSW and QLD) in it’s usual timeslot on Saturday, it’s been moved to Sunday at 12.30 in the afternoon. Due to ANZAC day footy. So if you remember tune in, because it’s a great show.
We are now on our way to the town of 1770 on the Sunshine Coast so we’ll have a report of how we go there next week.
Remember to keep entering the classic catch competition because there’s very good odds you might win a brand new Mitsubishi Trition or a new EvaKool icebox!
Until next time, Tightlines!

Nick and Andrew

The best fishin show on the BOX/ TV…”well guys you have done it for me and some mates of mine, I enjoy your show more than sex!!!! or fishing, haha I lied.
“But,,,not to be confused with the 45 cm Bream on 2lb line, I caught at a favourite place of mine in Sydney . Port Hacking to be exact.
WE have a 38 ft Mariner ,twin Volvo eng, that crusies very nicely indeed,.
My mate,, Captin Dickie and troll often off Cronulla Beach for tuna, mackrel-s, dolphin fish, and some large sharks that we let GO,so we don’t destroy the boat….

As I hate cleaning up the damage afterwards, estury to outside fishing
always keeps us occupied and heaps of fun to be had, plus a few beers after the days run,,if you guys are ever in Sydney town let me know,,,it would be a pleasure to take , You” and the crew out for an episode of one of your shows , fishin around Sydney town,,,I love what you both have to offer to THE FISHING WORLD,,,Real em in I say,,cheers good luck in the future,,,First Mate Scottie.

17.50 pm Sydney time, Wensday the 17th Febuary,,,

I have just watched your show out of Darwin, fly fishing for TOGA/Barra/ SAILfish,,,excellent stuff,,,very entertaining..
My Brother works out of Darwin, supply vessel, 100m that feeds offshore oil/gasrigges 150k’s off the coast.
He has caught some BIG Sailfish trolling behind the ship, 150kilos plus and busted off some bigger one’s, 25 to 50 ks out..He reports that schools of BIG Sails follow the boat in the wake of the ship and ralley up a frenzie of bait fish. 10 or so Sailfish at a time,,track the vessel to the riggs offshore and school around the riggs as they act as a reef for bait fish for the Marlin/Spanish/tuna large tigersharks and bottom feeding fish of all sorts.
