Hook, Line and Sinker

Well folks we have made it to the end of yet another season! After 21 shows we have travelled far and wide, caught a heap of really good fish and are now ready to give something back! That’s right, in our final and 22nd program for 2008 we are giving one lucky entrant in our Classic Catch Competition a brand new Mitsubishi Triton GLX – R! The draw is on Wednesday this week and the winner will be announced on Saturdays big show.

The show this Saturday will feature some of the best bits of 2008. A bit of a look back at what’s been another great year. It’s also got a small segment fishing for Barramundi out of Peter Faust Dam – it’s only a small segment because we didn’t really catch much! But that’s fishing!

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank our great sponsors who make the show possible. Mitsubishi have provided us with a car which is almost back home after our ‘road trip’ up the east coast of Aussie. The Triton hasn’t missed a beat and has towed a 6.5 meter boat all the way with ease. A great product.

Once again Yamaha have been really supportive. The Whittley and Yamaha make a fantastic fishing vessel – we’ve put over 170 hours on the F200 since taking delivery of it in late Feb this year. That’s a lot of hassle free boating!

Hello viewers, hope you are all doing well. Only three more shows left in the 2008 season of Hook, Line and Sinker! That’s two more road trip shows where we are in Queensland (who can blame us at this time of year!) catching a heap of different things, including mud crabs, blue salmon, big mackeral and even a coral trout!Of course the big final show is coming up on Septmember 20 where we annouce the winner of the Mitsubishi Triton! So remember, you only have three more weeks to enter your classic catch!
